  • Created: November 2020
  • Updated: September 21, 2022

Info Soon we'll be releasing a full version of the manual, covering all features of the Husario web portal and the Husario Connect messenger.

1. General information

The Husario freight exchange is designed for carriers (transportation companies), as well as for shippers and receivers (manufacturing and trading companies).

The Husario web portal allows you to browse, search, and add cargo and vehicle offers, and then (using the desktop application - Husario Connect) to contact the offerer, negotiate, and ultimately conclude a transaction.

Info In order to take full advantage of Husario's features, you need both access to the web portal, and the desktop application (the Husario Connect messenger) installed on your computer. Read how to request access to the web portal and how to install Husario Connect on your computer.

1.1. Technical requirements

All you need to use the Husario web portal is an internet connection (preferable wired or wireless with proper security measures) and a modern web browser (e.g., Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera) with cookies and JavaScript enabled.

Tip Read how to enable cookies in:  Mozilla Firefox,  Google Chrome,  Microsoft Edge,  Microsoft Internet Explorer,  Opera, and  macOS Safari.

Tip Read how to activate JavaScript in:  Mozilla Firefox,  Google Chrome,  Microsoft Edge,  Internet Explorer,  Opera,  macOS Safari, and  iOS Safari.

Note In order to ensure the correct operation of the portal, it's recommended to use the latest version of the web browser (not older than a year) and a screen with a resolution of no less than 1280x720px (at least 1440x900px is recommended for comfortable use). If you reduce the size of the browser window to below 1280px horizontally or use the zoom in/out option, the content may display incorrectly.

Tip Read how to change the screen resolution in:  Windows 7, and  Windows 10.

Tip Read how to change the zoom settings in:  Mozilla Firefox,  Google Chrome,  Microsoft Edge,  Opera, and  macOS Safari.

To install the desktop application (Husario Connect), you need a computer with a Windows operating system (at least Windows 7, preferably Windows 10) and a screen resolution of no less than 1024x768px (at least 1280x720px recommended for comfortable use).

We recommend using devices with:

  • Intel or AMD processor running at a minimum of 2 GHz,
  • a minimum of 4 GB of RAM,
  • a minimum of 1 GB of free disk space.

2. Changing language

Info By default, the Husario web portal opens in your browser language. Once you choose a preferred language, your choice will be remembered for subsequent sign ins.

Tip Read how to change the default language in:  Mozilla Firefox,  Google Chrome,  Microsoft Edge,  Opera, and  macOS Safari.

To change the language of the Husario web portal, click on the flag icon in the top bar. Once the language list slides out, choose your preferred language by clicking on the appropriate option. Starting from this point, Husario will be displayed in the language of your choice. Also, notifications sent to your email address will be in that language.

3. Requesting access

Info We want all users of our portal to feel confident they are working only with trustworthy partners, which is why we manually verify every company requesting access to Husario.

Note Check the FAQ section for information on what criteria your company must meet and what documents you must provide to gain access to Husario.

Important If a representative of your company has already requested access to Husario, please do not request access again for the same company. Once we verify your company details and activate the first account, you'll be able to add more employees.

Tip If you'd like to try Husario for free first, email us at  husario@husario.com.

To request access to Husario, click on the Request access link in the sign in window or in the top menu.

In the Request access window fill out all required fields (marked with an asterisk *).

Note Details entered in the User tab must belong to a person authorized to represent the company.

Info The email address entered in the User tab will automatically become your login (username). Once assigned login is permanent and cannot be changed later.

To display a list of documents required for your type of business, choose the right Type of company in the Documents tab.

Tip To speed up the verification process, make sure that all uploaded documents are up to date.

In the Subscription tab, choose your preferred subscription type (annual or monthly). If you've got a promo code, you can enter it in the Promotional code field.

Once you've filled out all required fields, check the Summarytab to make sure that the information you have entered is correct, select the appropriate consent and agreement options, and finally submit the form by clicking on the Confirm and send button.

Info If you're unable to complete the access request at a given time (e.g., due to unavailability of required documents), use the Finish later option described in the Finish later section. That way you'll receive an email with a link to a pre-filled access request form containing the data you've entered and the documents you've uploaded.

After receiving the completed form, we'll soon begin the verification process for your company.

Info You should shortly receive an email confirming receipt of your access request, along with a unique request ID.

Note If you don't receive the message with the link or the confirmation within a few minutes, please check your spam, junk or bulk folder, as well as the Promotions tab.

Once we successfully verify your company and receive the payment for subscription, we'll activate your account and you'll get an email with instruction on how to proceed.

Also if the outcome of the verification is negative, we'll inform you about our decision.

Tip If you have trouble requesting access, please contact us using the  access-help form, described in the Help with access section.

3.1. Finish later

Info The Finish later option allows you to pause the access request process without losing the sections you've already completed. With this option, you'll receive an email with a link to a pre-filled access request form containing the data you've entered and the documents you've uploaded.

To use the Finish later option, click on the Finish later button at the top of the access request window (located on the right of the window title).

In the Finish requesting access later window fill out all required fields (marked with an asterisk *).

Once you've filled out all required fields, submit the form by clicking on the Send link button.

Info You'll then receive an email with a link to a pre-filled access request form, which you can complete later at your convenience.

Note If you don't receive the message with the link or the confirmation within a few minutes, please check your spam, junk or bulk folder, as well as the Promotions tab.

Important The email address provided by you in the Finish requesting access later window will be saved to our database, and cannot be used to request access again other than through the link to the pre-filled form.

Tip If you have trouble using the Finish later option, please contact us using the  access-help form, described in the Help with access section.

4. Changing password

In order to change the password or create the first password while signed out, in the sign in window click on the Forgot your password? link.

If you're signed in, in order to change the password click on your name in the top bar. Once the option list slides out, click on the Change password link.

In the Change password window enter the email address associated with your Husario account in the email field, and click on the Send link button.

An email with a password change link should arrive in your inbox shortly.

To set a new password, click on the link in the message (or copy and paste it into your browser's address bar).

Note If the token field is empty, you'll need to manually paste the token into it (you'll find it in your message). Please note that this token is NOT your password. The link and the token expire automatically after 15 minutes and can only be used once.

Tip If the password change link doesn't work or is truncated, go directly to the  password setting page and manually paste the token from your message into the token field.

In the Set new password window enter your new password twice, and click on the Save button.

Note Your password must contain a minimum of 16 characters, including at least 1 lowercase letter, 1 uppercase/capital letter, and 1 number/digit.

Within a short while you'll receive an email confirmation that the password for your Husario account has been changed.

Note If you don't receive the message with the link or the confirmation within a few minutes, please check your spam, junk or bulk folder, as well as the Promotions tab.

Tip If you have trouble creating a password, please use the  access-help form, described in the Help with access section.

5. Signing in

Info Only users with an active account can sign in to Husario. If your account hasn't yet been activated by us, you must wait until we have completed verification of your company.

To sign in to Husario, in the sign in window (displayed automatically when you visit  husar.io) enter your access details in the login and password fields (your login is the email address associated with your Husario account), and then click on the Sign in button.

Once you successfully sign in to the portal, you should see additional items and icons in the top menu and side menu.

If your account hasn't been activated, you'll see an alert when trying to sign in.
