  • Created: November 2020
  • Updated: October 18, 2021

Info Soon we'll be releasing a full version of the manual, covering all features of the Husario web portal and the Husario Connect messenger.

1. General information

The Husario freight exchange is designed for carriers, freight forwarders and logistics operators, as well as for shippers (manufacturing and trading companies).

The Husario web portal allows you to browse, search, and add cargo and vehicle offers, and then (using the desktop application - Husario Connect) to contact the offerer, negotiate, and ultimately conclude a transaction.

Info In order to take full advantage of Husario's features, you need both access to the web portal, and the desktop application (the Husario Connect messenger) installed on your computer. Read how to request access to the web portal and how to install Husario Connect on your computer.

1.1. Technical requirements

All you need to use the Husario web portal is an internet connection and a modern web browser (e.g. Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera) with cookies and JavaScript enabled.

Tip Read how to enable cookies in:  Mozilla Firefox,  Google Chrome,  Microsoft Edge,  Microsoft Internet Explorer,  Opera, and  macOS Safari.

Tip Read how to activate JavaScript in:  Mozilla Firefox,  Google Chrome,  Microsoft Edge,  Internet Explorer,  Opera,  macOS Safari, and  iOS Safari.

Note In order to ensure the correct operation of the portal, it's recommended to use the latest version of the web browser (not older than a year) and a screen with a resolution of no less than 1280x720px (at least 1440x900px is recommended for comfortable use). If you reduce the size of the browser window to below 1280px horizontally or use the zoom in/out option, the content may display incorrectly.

Tip Read how to change the screen resolution in:  Windows 7, and  Windows 10.

Tip Read how to change the zoom settings in:  Mozilla Firefox,  Google Chrome,  Microsoft Edge,  Opera, and  macOS Safari.

To install the desktop application (Husario Connect), you need a computer with a Windows operating system (at least Windows 7) and a screen resolution of no less than 1024x768px (at least 1280x720px recommended for comfortable use).

2. Changing language

Info By default, the Husario web portal opens in your browser language. Once you choose a preferred language, your choice will be remembered for subsequent sign ins.

Tip Read how to change the default language in:  Mozilla Firefox,  Google Chrome,  Microsoft Edge,  Opera, and  macOS Safari.

To change the language of the Husario web portal, click on the flag icon in the top bar. Once the language list slides out, choose your preferred language by clicking on the appropriate option. Starting from this point, Husario will be displayed in the language of your choice. Also, notifications sent to your email address will be in that language.

3. Requesting access

Info We want all users of our portal to feel confident they are working only with trustworthy partners, which is why we manually verify every company requesting access to Husario.

Note Check the FAQ section for information on what criteria your company must meet and what documents you must provide to gain access to Husario.

Important If a representative of your company has already requested access to Husario, please do not request access again for the same company. Once we verify your company details and activate the first account, you'll be able to add more employees, as well as grant and revoke administrator privileges to your employees.

To request access to Husario, click on the Request access link in the top menu.

In the Request access window fill out all required fields (marked with an asterisk *).

Note Details entered in the User tab must belong to a person authorized to represent the company. The person whose details are entered will have the status of company Owner and thus will be authorized to grant and revoke Administrator privileges to employees, as well as the ability to delete the company account altogether (after email confirmation).

Info The email address given in the User tab will automatically become your login (username). Once assigned login is permanent and cannot be changed later.

To display a list of documents required for your type of business, click on the choose business type option in the Documents section. Once the list slides out, choose your business type by clicking on the correct option.

Tip To speed up the verification process, make sure that all uploaded documents are up to date.

Tip If your company's not registered in Poland and you're unable to provide required documents, please contact us using the  help form described in the Help section.

Once you have filled out all required fields, check the Summarytab to make sure that the information you have entered is correct, and submit the form by clicking on the Confirm and send button.

Once we receive the completed form, we'll soon begin the verification process for your company. The verification process for the first group of users will take at least 14 days.

Info You should immediately receive an automatic email confirming receipt of your access request, along with a unique ID.

After successful verification of your company, we'll activate your account and you'll get an automatic email with instruction on how to proceed.

If the verification is unsuccessful, you'll get an email detailing the reason for the denial.

Tip If you have trouble requesting access, please contact us using the  help form described in the Help section.

4. Changing password

Info You don't need to create a password immediately after requesting access. Only after positive verification of your company we'll activate your account, thus enabling you to sign in to the portal and to the messenger.

In order to change the password or create the first password while signed out, click on the Sign in link in the top bar. In the sign in window, click on the Forgot your password? link.

If you're signed in, in order to change the password click on your name in the top bar. Once the option list slides out, click on the Change password link.

In the Change password window enter the email address associated with your Husario account in the email field, and click on the Send link button.

An email with a password change link should arrive in your inbox shortly.

To set a new password, click on the link in the message (or copy and paste it into your browser's address bar).

Note If the token field is empty, you'll need to manually paste the token into it (you'll find it in your message). Please note that this token is NOT your password. The link and the token expire automatically after 15 minutes and can only be used once.

Tip If the password change link doesn't work or is truncated, go directly to the  password setting page and manually paste the token from your message into the token field.

In the Set new password window enter your new password twice, and click on the Save button.

Note Your password must contain a minimum of 16 characters, including at least 1 lowercase letter, 1 uppercase/capital letter, and 1 number/digit.

Within a short while you'll receive a confirmation that the password for your Husario account has been changed.

Note If you don't receive the message with the link or the confirmation within a few minutes, please check your spam, junk or bulk folder. If you do not find the message there, please add our email address to your address book, contacts or trusted/secure senders and generate the code from scratch.

Tip If you have trouble creating a password, please use the  help form described in the Help section.

5. Signing in

Info Only users with an active account can sign in to Husario. If your account hasn't yet been activated by us, you must wait until we have completed verification of your company.

To sign in to Husario, in the top menu click on the Sign in link.

When the sign in window appears, enter your access data in the login and password fields, and then click on the Sign in button.

Once you successfully sign in to the portal, you should see additional items and icons in the top menu and side menu.

If your account hasn't been activated, you'll see an alert when trying to sign in.
